For TRUE Batman fans out there...?
I have had some thoughts. I saw Dark Knight recently (most amazing film ever) and I think that plus Batman Begins is enough for me to qualify as the best Batman movies made. I mean...Nolan is just kickin a**. But here's my questions - What is Nolan basing the story from? Is it a specific story line from a specific comic series? My friend who "claims" to know alot about Batman said to me when I asked if Nolan had thought about inserting Robin into the picture that "Robin was never in the Dark Knight comics". Were there Dark Knight comics? I know there were the Dark Knight Returns comics but even there you had references to Robin. Help me out.
The movies are not at all based on "The Dark Knight Returns" by Frank Miller. In that miniseries Batman had given up being Batman after the second Robin died. He decided to become Batman again and got a new Robin, a girl named Carrie Kelley.
The Dark Knight Returns is an Elseworlds story, it's not part of the main comic's continuity.
Nolan said he wouldn't use Robin because his movies have Batman early in his career, when Robin would still be a baby.

Ha Long Bay is the main candidate for the new seven wonders of the world - an amazing, amazing to believe it "kind of Place. And I did. Seen.
